Welcome to Creating Communities! Thanks to a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Denver Public Library, in partnership with the City of Denver, History Colorado, University of Colorado at Denver Auraria Library, and University of Denver Penrose Library has brought together a number of historic resources and digitized archival materials.

We've gathered information about seven of Denver's historic neighborhoods in the Neighborhood Histories section of the site. We've mapped a number of Building History resources on a Google map, and if you just feel like browsing around, we have a vast collection of digitized archival materials in our Collections.
